Marc has over 25 years’ diverse equipment leasing and asset finance experience. He works closely with clients focusing on important strategic issues and problems. As a hands-on specialist in implementing identified solutions, Marc uses his resourcefulness and expertise to plan, drive change, improve performance and competitiveness and help to manage clients’ business.

Expertise and Experience

• Supports clients, often on long-term projects, on important strategic issues and actively participates in implementing solutions. Has in-depth experience of diverse financial service operations including the manufacturing, IT and full-service car leasing.
• Finding funding solutions for one-off projects and vendor solutions.
• Undertakes commercial and budget/financial reviews for country and business operations and has a strong track record of helping clients in a CFO-type role.
• Adept at facilitating pan-European market entry, exit and start-ups.
• Assists businesses with geographic and sector market entry/exit strategies; M&A; vendor and captive programme management; and outsourcing.
• Conducts lessor and captive competitor analysis and benchmarking.

A graduate in economics and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, Marc began his career with Price Waterhouse. Later, at Lombard, he was involved in the establishment of vendor programmes and the creation of joint ventures.

Marc joined ING Lease (UK) on its start-up and served as Finance Director for 10 years. Marc also set up many ING Lease subsidiaries in a wide variety of niche markets and served on the ING Lease IT Strategy Board. He has completed the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme.
